افتـَتح اليوم في دبي رئيس هيئة دبي للطيران الرئيس الأعلى لمجموعة طيران الإمارات الشيخ أحمد بن سعيد آل مكتوم فعاليات الدورة الخامسة للمؤتمر العالمي للقيادات النسائية في مجال الطاقة والتكنولوجيا
للمرة الأولى خارج الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية افتـَتح اليوم في دبي رئيس هيئة دبي للطيران الرئيس الأعلى لمجموعة طيران الإمارات الشيخ أحمد بن سعيد آل مكتوم فعاليات الدورة الخامسة للمؤتمر العالمي للقيادات النسائية في مجال الطاقة والتكنولوجيا
وفي كلمته الإفتتاحية قال إن العلاقات المعقدة بين شركات النفط العالمية ، وأسعار النفط ، والعرض والطلب ، والتكنولوجيا المستخدمة في هذا المجال، وموارد الطاقة البديلة من أهم القضايا التي يجب مواجهتها مؤكداً ثقته من أن هذا المؤتمر سيوفر منبراً لمناقشة أكثر قضايا العصر أهمية وإيجاد الحلول لها.
وأشاد الشيخ أحمد بن سعيد آل مكتوم بالجهود التي بُذلت لتنظيم هذا المؤتمر الذي خلق نوعاً من التواصل الدائم بين النساء في مجال صناعة الطاقة، حيث جعلوا منه منبراً للتعبير عن الأفكار وتبادل الآراء المختلفة في بيئة ديناميكية دائمة التجدد.
وقد اشتمل المؤتمر على العديد من المحاضرات وحلقات البحث التي ناقشت قضايا مهمة في مجال الطاقة مثل الحلول المستدامة لتلبية الطلب على الطاقة ، وديناميكيات وتأثيرات الأزمة الإقتصادية الحالية على العلاقة بين شركات النفط الدولية والوطنية
هذا واختـُتم المؤتمر بجلسة حوار، أتيحت من خلالها الفرصة للمشاركين لمناقشة المزيد من التفاصيل حول موضوعات المؤتمر ، و بناء علاقات و أوجه تعاون مختلفة.
يذكر أن المؤتمر العالمي للقيادات النسائية في مجال الطاقة والتكنولوجيا يعقد بشكل سنوي في مدينة هيوستن بولاية تكساس بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية

O2PR has been a strategic partner to Aswaaq since the assignment of the founding committee and the launch of the first Aswaaq shopping center in Nadd Al Hamar. Aswaaq in partnership with O2PR won CNBC’s award for best public relations campaign for 2008 to announce the launch of Aswaaq project. O2PR and Aswaaq have worked together on several successful events, such as; the “Go Green” campaign in Nadd Al Hamar, the “Gaza is Calling”, a campaign to support the Palestinians in Gaza, and the “Thalassaemia Screening Campaign” in association with Genetic Diseases Association. Dubai: The power of social networking in the UAE was highlighted this week when hundreds of residents responded to a new mother in need of a blood transfusion.
Kristy Anson, a 34-year-old Australian, delivered a baby by Caesarean section on Saturday morning at the American Hospital Dubai.
However, during the operation, her haemoglobin levels dropped below normal and she needed a transfusion of O negative blood.
There was only one unit of her blood type in stock at the hospital. Thus, doctors issued a request for further supplies from Al Wasl and Sharjah, but to no avail.
Kristy’s husband George Anson, a pilot with Emirates, grew increasingly concerned and decided to text his neighbour with an appeal for help, who in turn forwarded the message to as many people as possible.
The message soon appeared on numerous internet forums and spread on social networking websites,
including Facebook and Twitter.

Within hours, hundreds of people had pledged their support offering more…
